The electoral Commission of Dagestan did not register Maxim Shevchenko as a candidate in deputies of the state Duma

The electoral Commission of Dagestan refused to register the presenter, a member of the Council under RF President on development of civil society and human rights (human rights Council Maxim Shevchenko and six self – nominated candidates in deputies of the state Duma. About this TASS said the Chairman of the regional electoral Commission Magomed Dibirov.

“In self we have all the necessary documents for registration as a candidate in deputies of the state Duma was represented by 12 people. All of these documents have been checked, and the subscription lists were checked including with the involvement of specialists and experts of relevant departments of the Ministry of interior. The audit showed that only five candidates signature was normal,” – said Dibirov.

According to him, the seven candidates were detected from 14 to 96% false invalid signatures”.

“Accordingly, all these candidates the electoral Commission refused to register, including M. Shevchenko, F. Zavitaeva, R. Rabadanov, S. Magomedov, sh were Akusala, racabov T. and M. Orujeva”, – said the head of the electoral Commission.

The interviewee explained that candidates denied registration on the grounds that “five or more percent of signatures in their support from among proven – unreliable and invalid”. “However, we explained to the candidates that they have the right, if you do not agree with the decision of the electoral Commission, to appeal either to the CEC or the Supreme court of Dagestan”, – said Magomed Dibirov.

 

Shevchenko intends to appeal

The decision of the electoral Commission of Dagestan intends to appeal Maxim Shevchenko.

“We on Monday filed a complaint to the CEC. We have very good attorneys who deal with this. We accept, of course, any decision of the CEC of Russia, but look forward to a positive decision”, – told the correspondent of TASS Shevchenko.

According to the electoral Commission of Dagestan, in the Republic in all districts the candidates of the State Duma was 30 people, of which 25 nominated by parties and five independent candidates.

 

Will be 85 electoral campaigns

In Dagestan single day of voting on 18 September will be open about 2 thousand polling stations. In total in Republic it is planned 85 election campaigns – in addition to the election of deputies of the state Duma and people’s Assembly, plan 83 municipal election campaign. Elections of deputies of the settlement level.

Duma elections will be held on 18 September under a mixed system: 225 deputies are elected on party lists and 225 in single – mandate constituencies. On 17 June, Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed the decree about appointment of elections, on the same day it was published, and from that day Russia officially started the election campaign. The election of the legislative Assembly will be held on 18 September in the 39 regions of the country in seven regions will be the direct election of senior officials, also planned about 5 thousand municipal campaigns.
