The Russian economy has reached the bottom and pushed away from him. The relevant information contains in the monthly Bulletin of the European Central Bank (ECB) published on Thursday, August 4.
The European regulator indicates that in the first quarter of 2016, Russia’s GDP returned to growth and gained 0.3 percent from the fourth quarter of 2015.
August 1, experts from the HSE said that Russia’s economy began to decline again and broke the bottom.
“GDP (…) struck bottom in the first quarter of 2016, and in the second quarter, according to our estimates, was 1.4 percent below the bottom and is 5.5 percent below the average level in 2014,” — said the analysts of the University.
Earlier, on July 28, the Ministry of economic development reported that in June the decline of Russia’s GDP with the exception of seasonal factors almost stopped.
By the end of 2015, Russia’s economy has shrunk by 3.7 percent.
