The European Bank for reconstruction and development (EBRD) boosted support trade Finance in Ukraine, highlighting Ukrainian credit Agricole Bank (controlled by the French Credit Agricole Group) funds in the amount of up to EUR 10 million. The funds allocated under the program of trade facilitation (Trade Facilitation Programme, TFP), the report says.
“The EBRD program involves not only the regional business development, but also to provide a unique platform for knowledge sharing for professionals. To date, through the online curriculum to more than 350 Ukrainian bankers received their diplomas and were trained on trade Finance”, — stated in the message.
The EBRD is the largest international financial investor in Ukraine. On January 1, 2016, the total investment of the Bank amounted to approximately € 12 billion in 355 projects across the country.
