MOSCOW, 4 Jul — RIA Novosti. Syria delivered battery anti-aircraft missile system s-300, said the official representative of the Ministry of defense of Russia major-General Igor Konashenkov.

Peskov commented on the supply to Syria of s-300

Earlier that Russia deployed in Syria, the latest air defense system s-300VM (SA-23 Gladiator in NATO terminology), the channel Fox Newsсо with reference to three unnamed sources in Washington.

The possibilities of this system include the interception of aircraft and cruise missiles, standing on the arms of the United States. According to Fox News, the elements of the s-300 are in the “docks” at the Russian base in Tartus, the components of the system not yet deployed.
