Six months of 2016 the world feels the nervousness and excitement about geopolitical issues. The sharp drop in oil prices have encouraged sellers to the brink of crisis, and the aggressive market policy of OPEC oil has hit US businesses. China’s economic troubles continue to destabilize global markets. United States took an openly hostile position against Russia, which, in turn, hastily prepared to defend themselves from NATO aggression, whose generals shrink the military ring around Russia’s borders. The latest weapons aimed at Moscow, does not facilitate relationship. Western occupation of middle Eastern countries continues to exacerbate the refugee crisis, which, in turn, is reviving European nationalism, literally tearing apart the EU.
The catastrophic failure of middle East policy of Western countries has expanded terrorism in Europe. Meanwhile, popular protests breaking out because of the growth of economic inequality in Western countries ruined by neoliberalism, the mad principle is “profit above all” devours not only people but also nature. World order built on the ashes of the two world wars of the XX century, appeared on the verge of collapse. The capitalist and the social democratic model has failed, because they could not cope with its extremism. At the moment there is no ideology which would be able to replace these models, therefore, the crises and conflicts will dominate in the near future around the world.
Add to this an unstable economy, climate change, destruction of animals, globalisation, and it will be clear that in the near future the struggle for resources will not move to the negotiating table. Immediately after the Second world war, the United States seized 40% of the global economic market. After 30 years, their global economic share has fallen to 23%, and last year was only 16%. The American struggle for the maintenance of its status led destabilizatsii more than 50 countries and 38 only during the last 10 years, the war for global domination has resulted in millions of victims worldwide.
USA still the most powerful country militarily, but the Alliance of Russia and China throws strategic challenge. The desire of Russia to support Syria and Iran – a consequence of the global relationship of trust with China, which strengthens its position in the South China sea. Unconditional acceptance so-called “partners” with us sanctions, coups and wars in the near future will be impossible. This idea reinforces the fact that us economic activity continues to decline, and with it decreases the wealth and ability to conduct expensive wars around the world. Globalization faces the problem of refusal of a growing number of countries from a single model. But for many governments, the weakening of America will become a serious problem. Elections and trump’s and Clinton will only hasten this collapse.
In Europe there are points of tension. Here come the wave of refugees from war-torn regions and economic migrants from the impoverished colonization of third world countries. All of this is the revival of right-wing extremist movements, which led to the Second world war. Meanwhile, the modern UN as powerless as the League of Nations in the 1930s, becoming a club of businessmen and lobbyists. She is unable to stop war, using the mechanisms of collective security, disarmament and negotiation. Like NATO, the UN was dominated by American extremists who wreak havoc around the world.
It is obvious that Western capitalism has proven its inability to support the social welfare system, ending with all good intentions only to the growth of inequality. Transnational trade agreements is not trade agreements, and the sale of social services and state independence to global corporations. Ordinary people are protesting against TTIP, TTP, CETA, but nesmejalsja that bureaucrats hold secret talks similar to a coup.
The rise of nationalism caused by the financial crisis, globalization and destruction of domestic markets due to free trade. Europeans have to put up with lower wages because of the influx of paid workers and cheap imports from Asia, but the prospect of new cuts and new waves of migration, because of secret trade agreements threaten to blow up the status quo. The collapse of the European Union will be a catalyst for conflict over power vacuum, destruction of the European institutions, unpopular policies and a failed economy.
