The winners of the prestigious international contest of astronomical photos Insight Astronomy Photographer of the Year.
Ten of the best images were named in such categories as the sun, moon, galaxy, Northern lights, people and space, planets, comets and others.
This year took part more than 4,5 thousand photographers from more than 80 countries around the world, says RMG. Grand Prix of the contest received the photographer Yu Jun with a photo of the sun for which he received 10 thousand pounds.
Competition Insight Astronomy Photographer of the Year held for eight years under the auspices of the Royal Greenwich Observatory, Insight Investment and BBC magazine Sky at Night.
