On the Internet spread images of a battery, which supposedly will be part of iPhone 7, expected this fall. To verify the authenticity of images is not possible, so I have to believe that the capacity of new batteries is higher than that thereof, with the current iPhone 6s.
As you can see from the photo, the capacity of the battery is to 7.04 W/h, whereas in the Six installed battery 6,61 W/h, although in size they are, apparently, identical. But we should not think that once the capacity is more, then the battery life will increase — in fact, it may well not be. All the matter in such a treacherous setting, power consumption, and if about the Apple iPhone 6s everything is already known, as its sales began six months ago, something about its successor, currently there is no data. It is possible that the components used in it in total will consume more energy than stuffing Apple iPhone 6s, but quite opposite situation is possible.
By the way, Apple new iPhone 7 might not be a metal housing, which has become a seemingly integral part of modern IPhones. According to rumors, in the seventh model, it was replaced with a ceramic shell, but the reasons for this have not been announced.
