The Bank of England advised the world’s Central Bank to move on its own bitcoins

Банк Англии порекомендовал мировым ЦБ перейти на собственные биткоины

The Central banks of the world should reconsider its attitude to bitcoin, and to think about issuing its own digital currency, economists say the Bank of England. Their study reports The Wall Street Journal.

Experts believe that with the help of digital currencies regulators can continuously stimulate the growth in the range of three percent of GDP and to acquire an effective tool to mitigate the sharp UPS or downs in business activity.

Experts have noticed that the digital currency like cash, can be used for direct payments. They also have the advantages of Bank transfers, allowing you to move large amounts anywhere in the world instantly. In addition, when you use digital currencies costs reduced to almost zero, as the chain of payments excluded intermediaries such as commercial banks.

Now Bank of England and Canada are studying the possibility of introducing electronic currency that can radically change the existing financial system, the newspaper said.

“Banks just can’t compete with digital money”, — stated the head of the Central banks in the IMF’s Peter Stella (Peter Stella).

On 6 July it was reported that the European Commission has proposed to tighten the rules of control of transactions with bitcoin and other virtual currencies.

Bitcoin is by far the most common and successful virtual currency in the world. In some countries it is banned, and for operations with its use, the offender faces punishment. Currently in circulation there are about 15.5 million bitcoins.
