Germany looks forward to the return of Russia in the “Big eight” as a result of the normalization of relations, stated the Ambassador of Germany in Moscow rüdiger von Fritsch.
“(Germany hopes) that one day again we as partners will sit at the negotiating table in the framework of the G8 and use it as a forum for dialogue on important international issues”, – said the Ambassador in an interview with RIA Novosti.
According to the Ambassador, now it has become impossible because of the conflict, the victim of which was Ukraine. Because of him there was a situation in which there is normalcy.
In this case, the diplomat said that Germany has always advocated the achievement of a negotiated solution, and now it is already possible to observe some results. Final result, according to von Fritsch, should be returning to normal relations. After that, the Ambassador said, will be possible and recovery partnership negotiations in the framework of the G8.
