Elina Svitolina successfully launched on the WTA Premier Mandatory Mutua Madrid Open with a prize Fund of 300 Euro 5 591.
First dirt win of the season Svitolina scored over a player of the Belgium’s Yanina Wickmayer. Ukrainka had to spend on court the maximum three sets (1 hour and 49 minutes).
Svitolina in the first set on two breaks of the opponent replied only one. In the future Elina dominated on court Wickmayer in each of the two
subsequent sets once lost her serve and failed to make a back break.
For an exit in the 1/8 finals of the tournament in Madrid, Svitolina will argue with a tennis player from Australia Daria Gavrilova.
