According to the politician, compelling historical examples of world peace through isolation and rejection does not currently exist. “Therefore, major developed countries should be interested in the fact that Russia is back in the G8, if they fulfill their part of obligations for implementation of the Minsk agreements”, — said Steinmeier.
The foreign Minister stressed that the place of Russia in international organizations highlights the role of this country in the world. “We want Russia to overcome the great international foci of the crisis,” he said, citing the example of the situation in Syria and Libya.
