Venice can be called a Museum-city, because literally every area — in itself a priceless artifact. No wonder this city is considered one of the most touristy (read: expensive), it is visited by ten million tourists a year.
Flights

Search for hotels in Venice — a thankless task, because the city is a tourist, and therefore prices are per room for one night here close to €200 (and we are talking about three-star hotels!). You’d be surprised, but it is much cheaper to rent an apartment in Venice (from €65) or live in gesthouse or mini-hotels in Bed&Breakfast format (from €75).

Transport
