Seven of the rarest collectible cards with images of baseball player Ty Cobb (1886-1961) was found in the United States. According to TASS, the total cost exceeds one million dollars.
“This is one of the greatest finds in our history”, – said the Chairman of the Organization establishing the authenticity of the facts in professional sports Joe Orlando.
Cards were accidentally discovered in a paper bag a century ago. The owners of the rarity wished to remain anonymous. They learned the true value of old things inherited from great-grandfather, the assessor’s office.
Until now in private collections and museums had only 15 such cards. Now the number increased to 22.
