A US Federal court upheld the ban on the sale of firearms to people who have permission to the cultivation, consumption and distribution of medical marijuana. The resolution was adopted by the Ninth district court of appeals of the United States in this environment. The ban was adopted after a case involving a claim of a resident of the state of Nevada, which stated that she could not purchase a firearm for self-defense due to the fact that in 2011, she received permission for growing medical marijuana. The woman’s lawyer Chaz Reinli convinced that he will be able to appeal the decision to the Supreme court of the United States. “We live in a world where the availability of a card for medical marijuana sufficient to deprive people of the opportunity to self-defence.
