Announced the rules of the 25th season of the Russian championship on hockey.
Compared with last season, the participants of the championship of Ukraine will change – Kharkiv “Youth” and capital “the Companion” has not found the funds to participate in the national championship, and the farm-club “Generals” rapid finished their existence.
For the status of the strongest hockey teams of the country in the championship of Ukraine under the auspices of the Ukrainian hockey League will compete with six clubs: Donbass” (Donetsk), “Generals” (Kiev), HC “Kremenchuk”, “Vityaz” (Kharkiv), “White bars” (White Church) and Kryvbas (Krivoy Rog).
In the regular season, six clubs eight laps will play 40 matches. Thus, the first part of the season will consist of 120 matches. In the playoffs will break the four best teams of the regular season, which will determine the strongest in a series to four victories.
In December and February, there are two break for international matches. The season ends in April, so the Ukrainian team had enough time to prepare for a home world Cup.
We will remind, in last season the championship was won by “Donbass”. “Generals” and “Kremenchuk” located behind the club from Donetsk.
