Vice-champion of Ukraine Shakhtar next week plans to decide on the replacement for Mircea Lucescu.
“The name of the new coach? I think Tuesday will learn. On Monday he arrived in Kiev, and on Wednesday we hope to organise with his participation press conference”, – said General Director of “Shakhtar” Sergei Palkin.
The main contender for the place of the Pitmen’s mentor is considered to be the Portuguese coach Paulo Fonseca. A reputable local newspaper “A Bola” says that Fonseca agreed with Shakhtar on two-year contract and his annual salary will be two million euros.
On the eve of “ESPN” reported interest in Fonseca’s side, “Everton”, look for a replacement for fired for poor results Roberto Martinez.
Rumors associated Shakhtar head coach “Dnepr” Miron Markevich, however, the Ukrainian categorically denied the information on negotiations with the Vice-champion of the country.
