In Network premiered a new trailer for the anticipated film “Duelist”, directed by Alexey Mizgirev. According to the Director, this is a modern painting that primarily talks about modern society, but it does so through the society of the XIX century. Starring in “the Duelist” was performed Pyotr Fyodorov and Vladimir Mashkov.
“Scrapper”: a new teaser of blockbuster with Mashkov and Fedorov
The plot of the blockbuster – the professional duelist Yakovlev. By fate he was in the far North, where he held the doctrine for many years. Returning to St. Petersburg in 1860, he, in search of the offender, and enemy, for whom Yakovlev had to leave the city before starting to shoot for others. It brings him a lot of money and a bad reputation – people think it’s cursed, because the bullets of the bully do not take.

Alexander Rodnyansky in an interview he gave to the presenter of the program “the film industry” Ivan Kudryavtsev, explained the main message of the future of film:I think “Scrapper” – a completely modern picture. She’s just trying to reconstruct the events of the XIX century. And she’s definitely not trying to interest the world audience unfamiliar to them by the circumstances of life of the XIX century and the high society of St. Petersburg. No, this is a story about emotions, about the full human passions, the fight for honor, for dignity, for the right to decide for themselves. We are talking about all that anyway worried about any person anywhere in the world, but tells everything in our material. For many extremely exotic, in my opinion, incredibly beautiful, attractive and calling interest and desire to dive into it”.
Last week at the Toronto film festival hosted the world premiere of “the Duelist” – the show was sold out. In this review there is no jury, the winners determined by the audience attending the sessions of those or other paintings. The winners will be announced on 18 September, and the Russian audience will see “Duelist” in two weeks on September 29.
