The Ukrainian government has plans to abolish the moratorium on the export of round timber, said during a session of the Verkhovna Rada Deputy from the Radical party, Victor Galasyuk.
“You know that we took you to the moratorium on the export of unprocessed timber for 10 years. Today, the government bears a shameful plans to lift the freeze. Want for a loan of 600 million Euro, which will have to pay 15 years later, to sell the Ukrainian industry, the environment and livelihoods”.
However, he noted that during the moratorium woodworking industry of Ukraine and Ukraine’s exports showed an increase of 12 percent.
