In the course of trading on the Moscow exchange ordinary shares of Sberbank grew by almost two percent to 114,19 rubles per paper — a new historical maximum. The previous record was set in July 2007, then share gave 113,05 ruble. This is evidenced by danimarkali site.

Earlier, on 18 March, the MICEX index rose to 1918 points amid rising oil prices and the decisions of the Central Bank to keep key rate at 11 percent. This was the maximum value of the index from June 2008.
