Sanctions against Russia will be extended for six States

Санкции против России продлят шесть государствUSA and 5 European countries have agreed on sanctions against Russia.

The leaders of the United States and the five Nordic countries agreed with the need to continue sanctions against the Russian Federation.

This was stated by President Barack Obama.

Obama noted that the leaders of Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Norway and Finland are United in their concern for “aggressive military presence of Russia in the Nordic region.

We will remind that following the meeting of presidents Barack Obama and France Francois Hollande, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the Prime Ministers of Britain and Italy, Matteo Renzi and David Cameron at the end of April it was agreed that sanctions against Russia will be lifted only after full implementation of the Minsk agreements.

As is known, the validity of EU economic sanctions against Russia expires in June.
