Samsung has completed preparations for the launch of its proprietary payment system Pay on the territory of our country and has set a date for beginning its work. At first, she will work in restricted mode, and it will be a kind of beta test for a select few, and then, and already very soon, it will be available for all compatible smartphones.
In Russia, work Samsung Pay starts tomorrow September 29, and full access thereto will be opened in the fourth quarter, that is, until the end of this year. Currently to connect to it can many smartphones from the Korean vendor: Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy A5 (2016) and A7 (2016), and a number of other models, including the most reliable smartphone in the world — Note 7. In the first phase, support Samsung Pay will come from the following organizations: Alfa Bank, VTB 24, MTS, Raiffeisenbank, “Russian Standard Bank” and Yandex. Payment system Samsung Pay relies on two technologies of data transmission — a well-known NFC and MST that will allow you to use it in a terminal that only works with plastic cards with a chip or magnetic strip.
