International reserves of Russia on 13 may was $390,9 bn, said the Bank of Russia. As of may 6, the international reserves amounted to $391,9 billion, so during the week they fell by $1 billion.
The Central Bank explained the dynamics of international reserves of foreign exchange and market revaluation.
International reserves are highly liquid financial assets held by the Bank of Russia and the government. They consist of assets in foreign currency, monetary gold, special drawing rights of the IMF reserve position in IMF and other reserve assets.
