Anonymity at work in the global network — this is something that is so loved by the Russians. According to a study by ESET, almost 100% of our compatriots do not wish to reveal their identity online and hiding high private information about yourself.
 

87% of respondents ESET of Russians said that they do not intend to reveal themselves on the Internet, and only the remaining 13% believe that they have nothing to hide. All those who still have secrets, use a variety of methods of avoiding surveillance of Big Brother and uncle in uniform — someone who never posts in social networks your photo and other personal details, someone, including the author of these lines, stores emails exclusively in-memory mail client, without leaving the mail in boxes, and someone who communicates on the Internet only through the messengers.

The latter is due to the emergence of these applications end-to-end encryption, which makes the message exchange is not available for interception by third parties. The research report also ESET says about the growing popularity of ad blockers in the country — 38% of respondents actively use the appropriate extensions for web browsers, along with plug-ins, precluding the possibility of surveillance of the user. Also among the respondents there were those, who not by hearsay knows, that such proxies, VPN and Tor those gained as much as 35%.
