Interest in bus train in Russia in the summer of this year among Russian travellers has increased almost two compared to the previous year. It is reported by the service Busfor.
As reported on the portal, judging by the sales of tickets for buses in June and July the most demanded route was the route from Nizhny Novgorod to Moscow. Compared to the same months of last year on the route the number of trips increased by 96 percent.
This second place in popularity is the trip in the opposite direction from Moscow to Nizhny Novgorod, which this year increased by 95 percent. On the third place in popularity were two directions from St. Petersburg to Moscow and from Simferopol to Moscow, each of these routes sales increased by 92 percent.
Also, an increase in demand for bus travel in the direction of European destinations in an average of 78 percent. The most popular among them are the travel from the Russian capital in Riga and Tallinn, as well as from St. Petersburg to Narva. In addition, the demand for bus travel from Moscow to Minsk, Kiev and Odessa.
According to experts, the most popular destinations for travelling by bus in June of this year was a trip from St. Petersburg to Moscow and back, as well as the top five travel from the capital of Russia in Nizhny Novgorod, Kiev, Krasnodar and Rostov-on-don.
