In it was listed as small arms, grenade launchers, armored personnel carriers BTR-82A, military truck “Ural” and “other weapons necessary for the conduct of local hostilities and redeployment of staff of the Syrian army”.
The publication noted that the delivery was carried out in a Syrian account in advance (about 400 million dollars), listed above in payment for unfulfilled contract to supply anti-aircraft missile systems s-300PMU-2. In the same period with reference to the same source it was reported that new contracts for the supply of Russian weapons are not because of the difficult financial situation of the Syrian government.
