Russia will collapse because of the war in Ukraine – Nevzorov

In the Donbas, the Kremlin supported separatism, which at any moment can be turned against Russia itself.

This opinion website “Open Russia” was expressed by the journalist from Russia Alexander Nevzorov, commenting on the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Khasavyurt accords that ended the First Chechen war.

“Russia has lost the war on Chechnya, a small (and it lost). The fact that it was unnecessary Russian war. Again, this was unnecessary! And again in the course of conducting an unnecessary war was like in the sewers launched tens of thousands of lives… As we see today on the current situation with the Donbas, there is another completely meaningless, but even more dangerous for the Russian war,” — said the journalist.

“Why is this war more dangerous for Russia than the Chechen? Now Donbass grow footage of separatism. And Russian separatism. We know how Russia is strict about any separatism. But all that is happening in the Donbas and attempts to promote, to justify, to explain, ” this is pure propaganda of separatism. And this separatism can be transferred onto Russian soil with extraordinary ease” — he stressed.

According to Nevzorov, Donbass tragedy suggests that Russia in the Chechen experience has learned nothing. “But I suspect that she just can’t learn,” he added.

The journalist said that in the Donbass Moscow had set ambitious goals, but it’s over the capture of “a few miserable villages and towns which have managed to separateshower enormous sacrifices and suffering for all.”
