Russia reacted to the warning of the Vice-President of the United States Joe Biden to Ukraine that the EU wants to remove anti-Russian sanctions, Interfax reports.
According to Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Alexei Meshkov, the countries-opponents of the sanctions more than they counted Biden.
“He counted five. And we on the sidelines of the rejection of sanctions talked significantly more members of the EU. It is easier to transfer the minor group which supports the continuation of sanctions,” the official said.
However, he noted that changes in the abolition of European sanctions in Russia’s favor there.
On the eve of Biden warned that the EU wants to lift sanctions against Russia due to the failure of the Ukrainian authorities promised political and economic reforms.
In the administration of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that there was no relationship between sanctions against Russia and reforms in Ukraine.
