The Prosecutor’s office of the Nekouz district of Yaroslavl oblast brought to justice administration of the rural history Museum for violations of arms trafficking.

Rusty guns and spearheads were seized and handed over to the police. The municipal authorities made a representation, and the Director of the institution held accountable.

In this case, said RIA “Novosti”, at the Museum say that the building has a alarm, however, when checking this information, “no one listened”.

Nekouz regional Museum operates in the village since 1967, his most prized exhibit is a collection of spinning wheels. Close to the New Nekouz in 1238 there was a battle on the river Sit, which is one of the key battles of the Mongol invasion.
