Roland Garros-2016: Svitolina starts with a crushing victory

Only an hour and seven minutes lasted the opening match of Svitolina at Roland Garros – Kharkov at the expense of a neat game and timely activation without problems sorted out with the 97-th racket of the world Soranou Kirsty.

During the match, Svitolina netted five breaks and once lost a game on his serve. Elina made only eight unforced errors and was punched 20 times on the flight. Rival Ukrainian women played a more aggressive (21 vinners), but committed 27 errors.

In the second round Svitolina awaits former Australian Open Junior champion Taylor Townsend, who is in the WTA rankings 172-e a place. In Paris Townsend plays as the winner of the wild card.
