Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin has responded to the criticism of the Russian sniper rifle “Accuracy”, the beginning of the serial production of which was announced today.
“Expert is a bit behind the times. In this rifle: 1) no foreign components 2) it has launched production of two types of cartridges”, — Rogozin wrote in his Twitter.
Earlier today, a military expert Andrew Coustou in an interview with radio station “Moscow speaking” said that while Russia does not have the ability to produce all the parts and ammunition for the new sniper complex on domestic capacity.
“Some of the components used foreign. This time we are preparing for serial production, we need to unwind with a substitution, because we have a problem with that. I don’t quite believe that this complex is ready for serial production”, — he said.

Today the Central research Institute of precision engineering reported that the sniper rifle is Precision tested and ready for serial production. As expected, the first new rifle will be given to the fighters of the FSO.
