Reuters says that Russia has doubled its military supplies to Syria

Reuters утверждает, что России удвоила военные поставки в Сирию

Reuters analysts report that since the collapse of the cease-fire in Aleppo, Russia doubled its military supplies to Syria and deploys a robust group. Syria moved soldiers, aircraft and new missile systems.

This is the largest deployment in Syria in the period after March, when President Putin announced a partial withdrawal of troops.

Among the personnel sent to Syria to battery PRO-300.

Justin Bronk, a specialist from the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) said: “the s-300 is, in principle, gives Russia the opportunity to declare a no-fly zone over Syria. It also makes impossible any such attempt on the part of the United States. Russia can simply declare: We will continue to fly and all that will threaten our aircraft will be destroyed.”

The Russian defense Ministry refused to respond to queries from Reuters. A senior Russian military source denied the talks about increasing the supply.

But data collected by the Turkish bloggers and published at Bosphorus Naval News show that the “Syrian Express” reached a peak.

Data show that through the Bosporus from the end of September, there were 10 Russian warships – compared with the 5 to 13-day period prior to the conclusion of the agreement on cease-fire. Among these ships, small missile ship “Mirage”, which is seen in the Bosphorus Reuters correspondent.

Two warships passed into the Mediterranean sea on Wednesday.

Some of the ships were loaded so that the cargo waterline was barely visible above the water.

Personnel and equipment shall also be returned to Syria – according to the FlightRadar24 website. For the first six days of October on the basis Hamim six times landing transport aircraft An-124 and Il-76 – compared with 12 aircraft in August-September.

The an-124 can carry 150 tons of equipment Il-76 – 50 tons. Previously, they were used to transport to Syria heavy military vehicles and helicopters. State-owned passenger planes will fly 6-8 flights to Latakia every month. Western officials argue that they are relocating soldiers and staff.
