Rosobrnadzor since September will cancel the remote receipt of the first higher education across several disciplines.
“From 1 September 2016 it is planned to exclude the correspondence form of training on such popular areas of training as economists, lawyers, managers, in the direction of “State and municipal management”, — said the TV channel “Russia 1” the head of Department Sergey Kravtsov.
According to officials, the first higher education must be full-time. “I am confident that this measure will improve the quality of education, and, secondly, would seriously undermine the economic basis of the pseudo higher education institutions”, — he stressed.
The head of the Ministry of education and science of Russia Dmitry Livanov supported Kravtsov. “The discipline of General professional cycle, special courses, practical training is definitely not can be provided either in correspondence or in distance mode,” he said.
Student representatives have warned about the possible restriction of the rights of the applicants.
