More recently, fishing spinning was my problem, with no solution. I even thought that I will never master this fishing tool. Tried different lures and rigging – all in vain! But it was with the help of a friend, Andrei Savelyev, to catch the first little okushko, as the case had moved glasses. Now carry bass spinning turns out good, almost like regular fishing rod…
It’s all in the choice and in the sense of tool that work: stick plus accessories. And of course in circumstances where it is necessary to work, i.e., in the reservoir. But ponds are different. For example, I was lucky enough to successfully start on the river, with rapid current and zatsepistye bottom… I’m talking about the Oka river near Serpukhov.
At that time, I have tried a lot of options of fishing, decided to stop at the posted snap-in, you have to learn to catch with the challenge, using as bait twisters and vibrohvost. Once I had a chance to see how this method brings the fishermen good catches, at least in numerical terms. Andrew, a fisherman skilled enough owned in this way. For this reason, I asked him to be my teacher and mentor.
In this place on the Oka river we went with Andrew for the first time. Picked up a few sticks (like pick up the best option), but with quite serious tests: it was assumed that the casts must be long and, accordingly, the snap-in heavy. However, as shown, the fish is found near the shore where the more sensitive rods to catch her easier.
The snap-in itself looks simple enough and fit from regular monofilament fishing line or fluorocarbon thickness of 0.2 – 0.3 mm. For the reservoir with a strong current, which is the Eye in our chosen fishing spot, we used weights of not less than 28-30 And those were demolished in a jiffy.
Generally posted the snap-in has many parameters, which directly affects the efficiency. First and foremost is the length of the leash and the length of the allotment with a load. In my opinion, it is desirable to prepare a 5-7 snap-on reel that the fishing could quickly change, choosing thus the most effective.
Weights can also vary not only in weight but in form, which affects the maneuverability and efficiency of snap. For example, teardrop-shaped elongated goods (“the bell” and the like) give a better view of the bottom layer, rather than a flat “spoon”. In addition, different weights create different sound effects when you post (it can both attract and scare off the fish). But perhaps the most important factor in the selection of goods – the presence of obstacles on the bottom, causing hooks. Sometimes they can be very much. An elongated load less catches than the ball-Cheburashka. By the way, why on problem areas fishermen often use the so-called Tyrolean wand, or “bunhead” (an olive mounted on a resilient steel wire length of 10-15 cm). Such an improved weights allow you to traverse the gap between the stones that do not fall under the stones, etc.
The hooks in turn can be used a variety – it all depends on the available tools and fish you plan to catch. We, for example, on the day of our fishing was trying to apply avseniki as narrow bend stinger, and wide.
As for fishing line, that is to say about the two advantages of fluorocarbon: first, this material is almost invisible in the water, and secondly, it is easier to withstand the friction of the stones (breakages due to fading will be much less).
Perhaps, this is basically what I would say about the posted snap-ins.
Go directly to fishing. There is nothing more beautiful than walking along a sandy beach, throwing a bait, to turn the coil… Still it is desirable that the fish was caught. Available lures, unfortunately, not all attracted the fish. I’ve tried about five-seven, and of bites. This despite the fact that Andrew (which he almost didn’t catch, and taught me how to keep spinning, throwing, and work coil) was known and sizes and types and colors of lures win-win. And I enjoyed them.

Frankly, the day I fished only one okushko, but he was my first fish caught spinning in the fresh water reservoir (last summer, discovering the spinning of the sea, I also caught a few fish, but in a different way). And it was happiness, I dare say. I have the feeling that for a long time it was impossible to have a “motor”, and then he wound up. Or is it like riding a bike – a thousand times does not work, until they get the right time, but then get high.
Just a week after the trip to Oka, I was at the wonderful river Vetluga (annual festival) with other fishermen. And, frankly, wanted to get spinning at least a couple of fish. To catch something I didn’t know how.
Dream came true the first night. For the sake of training I went down to the river at dusk with raznoshennoy, which is pre-prepared at home, and in a few casts fished two Ososkov than surprised not only himself but also his wife and daughter. It was nice, even pretty, but still… I chalked it up to coincidence.
And the second time caught in the morning purposefully. And so, as they say, flooded! The number of bass I caught ever! And I never left. Threw away from a single point and pulled. Standing next to the fishermen came, looked at the lure on the snap and retreated. Well, it was for me an unexpected surprise, I must admit. This is usually I looked in the direction the fisherman is lucky. And here is the opposite.

That is, of course, I saw (for it is not blind) and heard (for the deaf) what’s going on in the field of view, but without any relationship to everything. Actually, I’m rather absent-minded man to knock me off easy, but then somehow miraculously changed. Don’t even know how to explain it.
But what is surprising is the fact that it seems my neighbors are fishermen fished as well as I do (in the end, all the spinning rods, and reels, and bait is almost the same), but fished, you could say I’m in splendid isolation. But compared to most of those who came here to catch I just learned… Phenomenon? Or guessed the place and snap, “the mark”? I do not know.
Probably, if I had not caught small perch, and bigger fish, then fishing would weight other fishermen leaders (they defended me from far away, out of sight), but the top three I got, just a little bit is not enough. But it is absolutely not important to me! It is important that I felt the connection between them, a fisherman standing on the shore, and the underwater world with its fish by his fishing gear. And a hefty package of frisky whales as a result of establishing this “contact”, was a pleasant burden to carry in my backpack.
It took very little time. I was in Nara near Moscow, where often and love to fish. Got kiwocol the tackle also recently discovered for myself (especially she loved me after applying the homemade jigs), and to catch the small things for fun. A sudden heavy rain forced me to curl up. I got in the car, deciding to wait out the bad weather, and when the rain subsided, I wanted to try to catch a trout line. Gathered the gear, kneaded foods, planted a foam… and enjoy the silence. Unfortunately, only silence, because the fish showed no interest in my bait. After half an hour, making a couple of pertobras and tired of waiting, went for the spinning. No, I was not going to make a “fishing around”, just been out fishing, and catch very much wanted, and cars were on different platforms.
Of course, Nara is not Oka and Vetluga not, and spinning I’m caught nothing (except a small pike in his youth, but that was long ago and unintentionally), although attempts were many, but still you can try.
And again the same renesance in my hands, spinning, length 2.7 m, reel with braided line 0.1 mm. And snap-connected… probably in the last year, although at the time I did not bring the desired result. And here’s the first throw brings me perch. And the bite happened almost at the coast. Then again and again… In your ear I that day dragged, for the first time, using spinning to Nara. But on the ground I have so not one bite was not, and still have a couple of faleristov, drove up later.
It turns out that rennesance not only brought me the fish, but also helps when other gear is silent.
Inspired by the successful beginning, I am now happy to learn new lures and equipment and arrive at the river only with a spinning rod, which is used to take, so to speak, in reserve. Do not forget the float with a nod at such things!
