The star of the movie series Bridget Jones told a journalist about why she took a break in an acting career that lasted six long years that forced her to return to activity and what experiences changed her appearance almost beyond recognition.

Renee Zellweger called because of its “dramatic transformation”
Ahead of the release of the film “Bridget Jones 3” 47-year-old actress Renee Zellweger has given a Frank interview with American Way, which explained why he left Hollywood in 2010 and only came back now (except the new Comedy about the unlucky journalist, this year on screens leaves a drama “the Only truth”, in which Renee played along with Keanu Reeves). According to Zellweger, she decided to see what opportunities would open up in front of her life if not for the acting career. She started work with a charitable organization dedicated to gender equality and women’s rights, and cooperation visited Thailand, Cambodia and Liberia.
The actress said:Visit non-touristy places was the most enlightening part of my trip. I think traveling in the wilderness is a great idea for the person who wants to understand not only themselves but also the rest of the world. However, Bridget Jones always stayed with me. I am an optimist and believe that any situation is to survive through humor.”

Back in Los Angeles Renee made the illness of a friend who was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. It is an incurable disease of the Central nervous system in which there is a loss of motor neurons that leads to paralysis: exactly suffer from this famous physicist Stephen Hawking.
Zellweger said that she thanks to a friend for the first time came out:She asked me to go together for one event on the red carpet: I wanted to prove to myself that the sickness won the best of her that she is ready to lead a full life. Then I thought about my friend and not about how I look. It is the concern about the state of someone close has affected my appearance.

The tabloids say that Renee is much older and looks not like herself, but she didn’t really care – according to star, she never distinguished by excessive concern for the preservation of youth:
I think the woman get older, it becomes more interesting. Youth and beauty are understandably valued by society, but they are so fleeting – it is but a moment in your life. You don’t just get older, you Mature and become a better version of yourself. It is something more powerful and valuable. I do not fear the future – I’m curious, I want to know what happens in my life next.”
