The Umi company has announced a new smartphone Touch in a slim all-metal chassis with a minimum thickness, positioned as the flagship model. Talking about it literally all the specifications, except for the cost – here it is just typical for the middle level, so you should look at this smartphone more closely. Umi Touch is a modern phablet with 5.5-inch screen, covered by reinforced glass Gorilla glass third generation, made in 2.5 D format, i.e. it has a slightly curved shape. Due to this glass not only protects the display, supporting a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels or Full HD, from damage, but also visually reduces the thickness of its lateral part, so it seems like it takes up the entire front panel.
Along with screen front part of the smartphone Umi Touch features and a hardware Home button which has a very smart fingerprint reader: it works in just 0.1 seconds, while ensuring reliable protection against unauthorized use of the device. In the upper part of the front panel is a front-facing camera for video calls and a 5 megapixel selfie, equipped with its own led flash. Over the main camera in Touch experts Umi is also very well done: it consists of a modern matrix IMX328 Sony backside illuminated, and optics.
