Western States conducting against Russia sanctions policy, will not achieve the desired goal and will not be able to restrain the development of Russia. On Sunday said Russian President Vladimir Putin, reports TASS.
“The purpose of these sanctions is not something to solve, and to hinder the strengthening of Russia as a full participant in international activities. This goal will be achieved”,- said the head of state.
Putin also added that Moscow is not going to soften sanctions in response.
“Fig. Now I’ll explain my position. I said curtly, and now I will try to explain. I do not agree that our countermeasures and sanctions, and countermeasures to protect our market”, – said the President.
The President stressed that Russia will not impose sanctions in response to its detriment.
“We have deliberately imposed restrictions on the supply of agricultural products (from Europe), it is such an asymmetric response. We did it where it was beneficial for us to do and we will not do anything, in order to punish someone, punish themselves”, – explained the position of Moscow with Putin.
