The President drew attention to the growth of industrial production. “Good growth shows agriculture is a plus 3 percent. I think we have every reason to congratulate the villagers on this result, with a good job,” said Putin at a meeting on economic issues.
In addition, the head of state said that unemployment is “relatively low”. This year, he said, on average it amounted to 5.6%.
The Russian leader also stressed that the Federal budget deficit must be contained within the planned values of — 3.7% of GDP. “There are certain risks of its increase… you Need to strive to ensure that within the law to keep the deficit”, he said.
As Putin said, according to the plan, the deficit should amount to 3.7%, but there is the risk of adding 0.1-0.2 percentage points.
The President added that inflation would also be able to keep within acceptable limits. According to him, on 7 November, the figure was 4.7%.
