Putin met with a representative of the “shadow government”

Путин встретился с представителем «теневого правительства»

The most important information event on Friday was Vladimir Putin’s interview with the Agency “Bloomberg”, in which the Russian President touched upon many key issues on the global information agenda. I’m sure dozens of publications take that interview and discuss every question and received the answer, but I want to offer you, dear friends, to look at it from a different perspective.

The fact that John Micklethwait, chief editor of the Agency “Bloomberg”, which conducted interviews with the Russian President, not just a journalist, and one of the few journalists who for many years participated in meetings of the Bilderberg club as a full member of this shadow interest groups, whose views often determines the policy of Western countries. This, I think, possible to explain the unusual format of an interview and the fact that Vladimir Putin called his companion “expert”, debating with him more as a politician than a journalist. And this may explain a certain audacity in asking questions, which hardly could afford to let the man, behind which stands only the news Agency, even one of the most influential in the world.

If you look at Putin’s interview from this point of view, it can be considered as Putin’s response to Western political elite. And here are the key points I would like to highlight.

John Micklethwait asked Putin if he is willing to exchange or sell the Kuril Islands and Kaliningrad, for which immediately received a sharp response of the Russian President. About the Kuril Islands the response was reduced to the traditional Putin’s statement that Russia does not sell the territories, and seeks agreement that suits both parties. And what about Kaliningrad, Putin outlined the representative of the Bilderberg club the following term: if someone starts to review the results.

The second world war, it will be immediately raised the question of the Eastern territories of Germany, about the affiliation of Lviv and on the borders of Romania and Hungary. So if someone wants to open this “Pandora’s Box”, as Putin put it, “a flag in hands and forward.” John Micklethwait hastened to say that he was joking. The video interview shows that Putin “joke” is not appreciated. The second important point. John Micklethwait asks Putin about Russian gold and currency reserves, budget deficits and the price of oil, distorting (like many Russian liberals) quote the Russian President on the fall of oil production if the price falls below $ 80 per barrel. What Putin he reasonably replied that foreign exchange reserves have all possible standards is enough, the budget deficit we have is moderate, and about oil prices, the Russian President noted that at that price, investment in oil production sharply reduced and that he meant exactly that, and not what was misquoted by some journalists.

I have just got a schedule compiled by the Agency “Bloomberg”, which, ironically, indicates the absolute right of the Russian President.

Due to the fact that at low oil prices, no one will invest in exploration of new reserves, the number and size of new fields in 2015 and 2016 fell to almost zero. This means that in the future we will inevitably be a shortage of oil and resulting higher prices. This Putin’s response, I take it as a subtle hint at a serious economic circumstances, which are not much like our Western partners.

We must pay tribute to the representative of the Bilderberg club. He tried very hard to provoke the Russian President and get him the right answers. In particular, he tried to imagine Putin as such a staunch enemy of Europe who want the collapse of the Eurozone, the destruction of the Euro and the complete collapse of the European project. In the end, what better way to support anti-Russian propaganda in Europe than the Russian President? Putin, as expected, the bait is not pecked. He wished the Europeans the best of luck in dealing with the crisis and noted that he criticizes the foreign policy of the EU, but Russia hopes for the best in terms of the European economy.

The second failed provocation was to try to force Putin to publicly support Donald trump as a candidate for the office of President of the United States. Or at least admit that Russia is behind hacking attacks on the servers of the Democratic party. The provocation failed, as Putin has said it is ready to work with any American President is able to comply with the agreements. And in order that the interviewer was not only hurt, but also hurt, he added, he did not understand why the American public was so surprised of the information revealed hackers. In translation from diplomatic to Russian it sounded approximately so: “Yes, everyone knows that you have a political system rotten, and enough Comedy to break”

.And the last important element. The Russian President stressed that if someone in American leadership will try to “get rid of us, we will survive it and here it is not known who will lose more with this approach”. And then, Putin broke the format of the interview and asked a direct question to the representative of the Bilderberg club. Putin is asked if he wants a repeat of the Cuban missile crisis, John Micklethwait quickly replied that “nobody wants”. From my point of view, it was another clear and unambiguous message to our Western partners. As they say, a kind word and a nuclear weapon can achieve much more than with just a kind word. It is hoped that our Western partners will make the right conclusions from the Russian President.
