The military operation in Syria have revealed problems that must be carefully analyzed and eliminated. This was stated by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin at a meeting with military leaders and the leadership of enterprises of the military-industrial complex, reports TASS.
For each of the discovered shortcomings “should be carried out the most thorough investigation I mean a professional investigation,” said the head of state.
He also noted the need to improve the health of samples of arms in Russia to 92 percent, reports RIA Novosti.
Currently, the level of serviceability of equipment in the Russian air force is variously estimated at 75-80 percent, which is fairly high — in some NATO countries it is below 50 percent. The level of serviceability of equipment of Land forces of the Russian Federation in 2015 was estimated at 98 percent.
20 April, Vladimir Putin stated that, with the support of the Russian aircraft Syrian troops have freed more than 400 settlements.
“Thanks to successful actions of the Russian VKS and the Syrian army managed to seize the initiative, to liberate a number of cities, including Palmyra. Eliminated thousands of terrorists, including criminals — immigrants from Russia and other CIS countries”, — said the head of state.
