It is clear that American “hawks” will not forgive to Beijing for this behavior. It is also obvious that before you say what he said himself, XI Jinping not only think well, but has secured the greatest possible support from the Chinese political elite. Still, the Russian military umbrella, and the sovereignty was for Beijing more attractive than the American checkbook and the status of “beloved vassal of Washington.” This is a great result Russian diplomacy and Vladimir Putin personally.
