The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is looking for buyers of the Lipetsk confectionery factory Roshen, informed the head of administration of the Ukrainian leader Boris Lozhkin on Sunday.
Earlier Interdistrict IFNS Russia on the largest taxpayers in the Lipetsk region reported that the total debt of the Lipetsk factories of the confectionery Corporation Roshen, owned by Poroshenko, on tax payments by 1 February 2016, is 779 million rubles.
“He (Poroshenko – ed.) is very actively through professional intermediaries looking for buyers at the Lipetsk factory, and you need to understand, it was repeatedly closed by the tax authorities, and it is now for many buyers in Russia difficult asset. And I understand the owner of this asset, which sell it difficult,” Lozhkin told in “Radio News”.
He stressed that the decision Poroshenko to sell the factory is unambiguous and “it is only a matter of time.”
Roshen — one of the largest world manufacturers of confectionery products. The Corporation includes factory in the Ukraine, in Lithuania, Hungary and Russia. Its owner, Petro Poroshenko, proposing the candidature for President of Ukraine, promised in case of victory on elections to sell his main asset, but this has not happened yet.
