Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak asks Estonia to help Ukraine in fighting with Russia. In General, “corruption and Russia we can do this, you us just give money!”
Stepan Poltorak, who arrived in Estonia on a working visit, met with his Estonian counterpart Hannes Hanso, who told the story of the “600 Russian tanks” and other Russian weapons on the territory of DND and LNR, as well as about “mercenaries”, which Russia sends to Nemer Republic of Donbass:
“Russia delivers mercenaries and weapons. For example, now in the occupied territories in Donetsk and Luhansk is 600 Russian tanks. Just so the store can’t buy them!” – said the Minister of defence of the Square.
And explained that the struggle with “Russian aggressors” it is important not to stop sanctions against Russia. And yet – the very Kiev needed help from Estonia!
When on a press-conferences journalists have asked Poltorak on corruption in Ukraine, the Minister was very cool. He said that the Ukrainian anti-corruption laws “even stricter than in the European Union”. (However, did not specify how strictly they are enforced.)
And the thing, it turns out, that just need “a little time” to bring these “anti-corruption laws” in action:
“Corruption Ukraine can do it, but in the struggle against the aggression we need help,” – said the Minister.
And added:
“I want to say that rumors of corruption are exaggerated. Moscow is doing everything to show that Ukraine is not able to perform their duties. It’s all part of the fight against Ukraine”, – said the Poltorak.
