In Warsaw there took place protest action of doctors. The main requirements of physicians – the increase in expenditure on the health service to 6% of GDP and raising salaries. Reports about it “European truth”.
In addition, the protesters demanded the acceleration of work on the minimum wage law in the health service, the enactment of a network of hospitals and so on. This was the first joint 9 demonstration at Polish national unions that represent nearly all the medical professions: dentists, nurses, midwives, medspiration, physiotherapists, technicians of radiotherapy and laboratory diagnostics.
Health Minister Constants Radziwill were also demonstrations of doctors in the Polish capital. He assured that health care costs will increase, which reforms progressed gradually and reproached predecessors, who tried to avoid responsibility for health care. The Minister invited the doctors for talks on Tuesday.
