U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Jeffrey Payette announced new arrivals of us military aid to Ukraine in the coming days.
In an interview with Radio Liberty he said that Washington has offered Kiev assistance for security of $600 million.
“I’m very proud of what has been achieved and our military exercises in Yavoriv, and modern weapons, even more thousands of night vision devices. New deliveries will be in the coming days. Thanks to this assistance, many lives of Ukrainian soldiers were saved,” he added.
The US Ambassador also reiterated that Washington does not see a solution to the conflict in the Donbas by military means.
“We will rely on diplomacy to rid the Russian military in the Donbass and that Ukraine regained control over the Crimea”, — he stressed.
