Paralympics 2016: Ukraine is close to a personal record

Паралимпиада-2016: Украина приближается к персональному рекордуThree days before the completion of the 15-year-old Paralympic games, Ukrainian athletes to step away from the improving London’s result four years ago.

The Ukrainians won another batch of gold medals in swimming. Sergey Clipper was the best in the 100m backstroke, Anna Stetsenko won the swim 50 meters freestyle and men’s relay Quartet consisting of Alexander Komarov, Maxim Kripke, Bogdan Grinenko and Denis Dubrov with a personal record won the swim 4 x 100 meters freestyle. Another award of the highest test at the track was won by Yegor Dementyev.

Swimmers Yarina Matlo and Mary Lavina joined the medal piggy Bank silver medals, Alexey Denisyuk (shooting), Alexander Mashchenko (swimming) and Zoya OVSII (hammer throw) took third places in their disciplines.

The Ukrainians immediately close to a triple record at the Paralympic games – still the best score of the country at the Paralympics was recorded in London (fourth place in the medal standings, 84 awards, 32 gold, 24 silver and 28 bronze). While Ukraine in Rio is evidently ahead of that schedule.
