Ukrainian athletes during the ninth day of the Paralympic games in Rio de Janeiro won 14 medals.
The national team of Ukraine on football 7×7 in the final match in overtime put the squeeze on Iran – the Ukrainians were three-time winners of the Paralympic games, repeating the achievement of the national team of the Netherlands won the Games in 1988, 1992 and 1996.
Gold won the men’s team table tennis, defeating in the final the Swedes and swimmer Anna Stetsenko, for which the victory in the 100m freestyle was the second in Rio.
Owners of silver medals became Roman Pavlik (athletics), Bogdan Grinenko, Victor Smirnov, Dmitry Vynohradets and Yaroslav Denisenko (all swimming). Bronze in the asset Ludmilla danilidou (athletics), Yuri Oginskogo, Eugene, Bogotano, Marina Verbova and Maksym Veraksa (all swimming).
