In the Russian hire starts the adventure movie “the Duelist” by Director Alexei Mizgirev. The plot of this film – a professional duelist Yakovlev. By fate, he finds himself in the far North where he has to spend a few years. In 1860 he returned to St. Petersburg. To earn a living, Yakovlev is starting to shoot for other people in duels he has no equal. They say that he cursed the bullet did not take. In parallel, Yakovlev tries to find his abuser and the enemy, whom he informed had to leave the city.

Shooting “Duelist” took place in Saint-Petersburg. The picture will be the third after “Stalingrad” and “Crew” of the Russian film, which will be released in the IMAX format. The main role in the film was played by actor Peter Fedorov, starring in such films as “Pure art”, “Vacant life chef”, “Territory”, “Stalingrad” and many others.

The world premiere was held in early September at the International film festival in Toronto (TIFF). The Director of the movie was made by Alexey Mizgirev, who directed the movies “Convoy”, “Tambourine, drum” and “Flint”. In addition to Fyodorov, the picture will appear, and Vladimir Mashkov – he got the role of the main antagonist of the story. The film also starred: Yuri Kolokolnikov, Alexander Yatsenko, Sergey Garmash and others.
