Ukrainian athletes with varying degrees of success stormed the Olympic Rio de Janeiro.
Rowing:
Ivan Dovgodko, Dmytro Mikhay, Artem Morozov and Alexander Nadtoka in his preliminary swim for the 1500 metres he finished in second position and made it to the finals.

Elena Krivitskaya your way to Rio started with a tough victory over the Korean Shin Lam (15:14). In the second round of an Krivitsky knocked the Frenchwoman Lauren Rembi. Another spagetka Ksenia Panteleeva his debut fight lost with the devastating account – Ukrainian woman upset Irina Embrich (3:15).
