Crime in Russia has become velvelettes due to the large number of arrivals of refugees from Eastern Ukraine. A strong increase of crime was registered in the southern Federal district of the country.
“Crime is growing. In the country counted 73 000 unemployed refugees from Eastern Ukraine. Crime will increase because of arriving migrants,” said Secretary of the Russian security Council Nikolai Patrushev.
On the territory of the Russian Federation is home to 900,000 people from the Donetsk and Luhansk region.
According to the Ministry of social police, Civil war in Ukraine, forced to leave their homes to 1.7 million people.
