The “saved” money has decided to return to the reserve Fund of the budget.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has reduced the cost of preparing and holding the international song contest “Eurovision” in 2017 by 19.38 million.
So, according to the order №750 dated 19 October, the government reduced the funds allocated to the State Committee for television and radio broadcasting to Finance the preparation and holding of the competition, with 450 million UAH million UAH to 430,62.
“This decision will ensure the return of the state Committee to the reserve Fund of the state budget the balance of unused funds in the amount of 19.38 million UAH”, – noted in Cabine.
We will remind, Ukraine has received the right to hold “Eurovision-2017” after the victory of the Ukrainian Jamala with a song “1944” contest in Stockholm. Make the competition will be Kiev.
Informed city Council budget Committee has agreed on financing of preparation and holding of Eurovision-2017 at the level of 200 million.
